Ikebana Vase, Horizon Design

Centerpoint Studios won’t be producing pottery for a few years because Kathie’s going to be caring for young grandchildren, so now is the time to stock up on her popular ikebana vases that make ideal gifts for any occasion.  There will be several opportunities to purchase these vases and Mountainscape dinnerware between now and the end of the year:

  • This Saturday’s  (November 15th) Holiday Show at 320 Lakewood Drive, Asheville, NC, 10am-5pm;
  • Appalachian Potters Market at McDowell High School in Marion, NC  on Saturday, December 6th, 10am-4pm;
  • Cool Craft Market at Handmade in America, 125 S. Lexington Avenue, Asheville…Friday, December 12th, 5pm-8pm, Saturday, December 13th, 10am-6pm, and Sunday, December 14th, noon-4pm.

Shino Suiban, Sold at the 2014 International Ikebana Convention

If Kathie has time or energy to play in the pottery studio at all, she’s planning to continue developing designs for suiban and nageire ikebana containers. If you’re interested in placing an order for one of these specialized items, email Kathie to let her know what you’d like and she’ll respond on a first-come, first-served basis.
